And me having a Hitler avatar means exactly what? Hitler was a brilliant but highly complicated man, plagued with poor health his entire life. It doesn't take a historian to see that apart from the horrors of the Holocaust he was simply a product of his times.

I know. I'm not here much as of late. I love my VR, but life - and the bullshit that comes with it - comes first.



Last Friday, there was a knock-out, drag-out verbal fight of a cashiers' meeting. It opened up a lot of bottled-up stuff (mostly bullshit, in my opinion), so hopefully, everyone will concentrate more on work and being cordial to one another, instead of some being lazy thieving, snarling, back-stabbing hell-cats. We'll see...



On a lighter note - for all of the work that I do at work, it is still fun at times. I thank my twisted sense of humor for getting me through. And - the dumb-as-rocks antics I sometimes get from customers.



A lil' ha-ha: One of my fave customers - an older white woman (a teaching assistant/tutor), almost had a stroke when I told her my age (She's one of the few that embarrass me on occasion when she goes on and on about how 'beautiful' I am. Which makes people focus on me with more scrutiny, which I don't like)...Anyway, our convo began with the both of us commiserating over our aches and pains. She mentioned that she could understand my aches, due to all of the shit that I and the others have to do on a daily basis, being on our feet all day. Anyway, she said "I'm 65 - you must be no more than 45, right?" I laughed and told her to add nine years to that. Do you know that this woman got up in my face and said "Are you FUCKING KIDDING?" She was less that a foot in my face, when she said "I'm looking for wrinkles...WHERE ARE THE WRINKLES?"

I couldn't stop laughing. I told her that she should be able to see a few lines as I stepped back.

Good grief...LOL



Some good news here...the cursed heat wave is finally GONE, and the weather has cooled down significantly. (Yesterday was hot as hell). Now...rain? We really need rain!

Today's weather was warm...then by 6 pm, it got really cold and windy, thanks to an Alaskan cold front blowing down on us.

Good grief!

Aaaaaaand...the hot weather is back. Dammit.
